Koru Spiral Diamond Ring
🌿 Te Koru Whakamana Diamond Ring
(Whakamana = to empower, uplift, or give prestige)
A ring born from nature — a symbol of growth, life, and empowerment.
Inspired by the unfurling koru — the iconic New Zealand fern symbolising new life, balance, and personal transformation — this meaningful ring is one of Susan Forde’s earliest and most loved designs. It’s a tribute to the natural curves, found in the wild and how light moves through water, leaves, and stone.
A gentle spiral sweeps around a single diamond, surrounded by a pave of smaller stones. It represents the journey within — of reconnecting to self, honouring ancestry, and embracing change with grace.
The Susan Forde Difference
Each piece is made with heart — using recycled metals, meaningful design, and a deep respect for nature and people. This design is inspired by Susan’s own journey of choosing Aotearoa as home, and her love for the wild coastlines, native plants, and the quiet strength of women.
